Bardwells Ferry bridge closed

As of Thursday, August 24th Bardwells Ferry bridge is closed

MassDOT has determined that the bridge at Bardwells Ferry is unsafe for travel, and has been closed as of Thursday, August 24th. Alternate routes are Shelburne Falls Road or Route 116. We have no information at this time about how long the closure is expected to last, but will update with more information as we receive it.
