The Personnel Committee’s responsibilities are in the areas of personnel matters and personnel policy for Conway. These responsibilities include revision of the employee handbook which outlines policies on hiring, firing, attendance, benefits, compensation, anti-harassment (discrimination), employee safety and discipline, workers compensation, and workplace civility. The Committee serves as a resource to the Select Board for the resolution of complaints and grievances brought by non-school personnel. The Committee may make recommendations concerning hiring and firing when requested by the Select Board.
