      Erica attended a Source Pass IT meeting.

    • 6:00: - Discussion and vote on Chapter 61a Right of First Refusal for 4.01 acres of property belonging to Peter Hanas on Pine Hill Road. Janet Chayes, Open Space.

      General Discussion...
      The recommendation of Open Space, Conservation, the Assessors and others was that the town has no use for the property.

      MOTION, moved by Erica Goleman, seconded by Elaine Campbell: To sign a letter that the town is declining the opportunity to buy 4.01 acres on Pine Hill Road. .

      Pass: Aye: Erica Goleman, Elaine Campbell, Christopher Waldo.

  5. New Business

    • - Discussion and vote on appointment of FRTA representative and designee.

      MOTION, moved by Christopher Waldo, seconded by Erica Goleman: To have Veronique be the FRTA representative with Erica the designee.

    • - Discussion and vote on whether or not to remove the Salvation Army textile bin and enter into an agreement with CRMK.

      General Discussion...
      Salvation Army has had trouble massing the troops. Pick ups have been sparse. If the town goes with CRMK, there will be a scheduled pick ups and the town receives $.07 a pound for everything collected.

    • - Discussion and vote on whether or not to request Eversource turn off the streetlights slated for decommissioning.

      General Discussion...
      The town didn't receive the grant for replacing the street lights. It is felt we can still decommission the lights that will be removed if the next grant is approved. Some these lights don't even work and the town is still paying. This would cut town expenses by half until the project continues further.

      MOTION, moved by Christopher Waldo, seconded by Erica Goleman: To decommission the street lights that the town will no longer use.

    • - Discussion and possible vote on modifications to the Conway Mall.

      General Discussion...
      There are a number of ideas put forth regarding cosmetic upgrades to the new mall. Due to funds and the number of suggestions, the town feels that opening for the winter and getting of better sense of what will be needed is the best option. Insulation, replacing doors or constructing a division will be put on hold. A heater will be donated by Chris Waldo for the winter as soon as the electrical work is done.

      MOTION, moved by Erica Goleman, seconded by Christopher Waldo: To hold off on major construction to the mall at the transfer station until spring.

    • - Discussion and vote to authorize the town administrator to authorize Alliant to request data from HCGIT and provide the town with options.

      MOTION, moved by Christopher Waldo, seconded by Erica Goleman: To allow Alliant to provide a free service collecting data from HCGIT regarding health insurance for the town.

    • - Vote to approve amended minutes of June 16, 2025.

    • 6:20: - Discussion on ICE policy in Conway with residents and Chief Bates.

      General Discussion...
      A group called Indivisible wanted to ask the town how the town would react to the presence of ICE in Conway. The board and Chief Bates assured the group that the town would follow the law and not go above and beyond other possible requests from the Federal Government. There was also concern that the town's cruisers aren't labeled Conway. The Chief would like to do one but doesn't have the funds right now. One cruiser needs to be blank for legal reasons regarding minors with the WINGS program at the school. The town is also cognizant of stipulations on federal grant money and will be treading carefully.

      The board would like the Assessors to come to the next meeting. The board is looking for an update on the progress of the new company.
