    • - Vote to approve the Accounts Payable Warrant W25-09 in the amount of $152,040.29, the Payroll Warrant PW25-09 in the amount of $144,511.63, and the Payroll Deduction Warrant PDW25-09 in the amount of $35,735.50.

  3. Meetings Attended by Select Board Members

    • - Erica attended a FRCOG meeting and let members know that a charter update will be coming soon. Elaine attended a school committee meeting and let members know about the CGS capital plan updates. Chris has a capital improvements meeting and several meetings with Veronique and town counsel.

    • - Discussion and vote on Senior and Veterans Tax Work Off Program parameters.

      MOTION, moved by Christopher Waldo, seconded by Elaine Campbell: To set the parameters for the Senior and Veteran's tax work off program as follows: age limit 65, income limit set at very low income as listed on the FY2024 HUD income limit for Conway in Franklin County, asset limits exclusive of primary residence and one vehicle at $40,000 for single and $55,000 for married couples, and that 5 participants will be chosen by lottery of all eligible applicants.

    • - Discussion and vote to sign contract for streetlight study with RTE.

      Chris noted that RTE has sent an email confirming that the goal of the study is to locate which streetlights in town can be decommissioned.

    • - Discussion and vote to sign letter of support for Conway Swimming Pool grant application to T Mobile Hometown Grant Initiative.

    • - Discussion with Janet Chayes and possible vote on Bigelow Meadow mowing and management plans and invasives management on town properties.

      General Discussion...
      Janet mentioned that she was representing the Open Space committee, and that the committee feels that the town should follow Owen Wormser's expert guidance, which is to mow in the spring at Bigelow Meadow instead of the fall. Chris mentioned that it would be helpful to have information on the website about invasives and how to deal with them. The Small Cities grant fund was mentioned, and the town accountant will be researching the legally allowed uses of that fund. All these projects which Open Space has undertaken do require significant funding.

    • - Discussion and vote on hiring Raymond Miscavage as a new CDL driver for the Highway Department.

      General Discussion...
      Raymond Miscavage has all the required CDL licenses, some experience with mechanics and tree work. He can begin work some time after November 4th.
