      Sandwich board sign has arrived. No other mail or invoices.

  3. Title V Agent report

    • General Discussion...
      Damage to septic system at Baker's Store from last weeks rains. DOR will handle replacement of the 5,000 tank. This incident brings back to mind using the reverse 911 system to alert neighbors to incidents like these.

      Bird Flu - 11 new human cases in 3 states as of July 11th, none in MA.
      EEE - 9 positive mosquito tests in Plymouth county.
      WNV - 16 positive mosquito tests in 7 counties, the closest being Hampden County.
      COVID - Summer surge
      Measles - 1st case of measles in MA since 2020 confirmed in Worcester County
      Norovirus - Summer increase

  7. Septic and well permit applications

      2 well permit applications. 1 approved, 1 pending further questions.

      Sub-committee formed to create policy/guidelines - Kathy, Regina and Hanna

  9. Discussion re procedures/policy for submitting septic and well permit applications

    • General Discussion...
      Gina (and Laurie) to draft a flowchart on steps to be taken for submitting applications to the BOH. Letters to contractors outlining new steps once approved by the board.

  10. Follow up on meeting with Selectboard re Opioid Fund Expenditures

    • General Discussion...
      - 2 Narcan boxes from FRCOG (possible locations are the town hall and public safety building).
      - 5 defibrillators purchased by the town
      - BOH requests that a percentage of funds received go to a pool that the town can draw on and also can be used by other towns for those in need. SB to vote on this request at next meeting. Hanna will gather information on ways the funds can be used.

  11. Article submission procedures with both FRCOG and BOH articles

      Maureen will send FRCOG article directly to the BOH 2-3 days prior to the submission deadline. Hanna will check to see if she can let us know her choice of topic earlier so BOH can decide if it is relevant and add to it.

  12. Bakery stand on Shelburne Falls Road

      Gina will speak with the stand owner about the need for a kitchen inspection and food permit.
