- Jan Warner, Parks & Recreation, to discuss placement of new pickleball courts for Conway.
General Discussion...
Parks and Recreation is looking for an area to place a pickleball court. There have been concerns from residents about placing the court in the South River Meadow area. The committee is asking to look into placing it behind the grammar school on the town lot 8.3. The principal of the school has no reservations because the courts are mainly used in the evenings and summer. This should not interfere with the pick-up time for students. The Selectboard approved the committee to go forward with having plans drawn up for the court and parking.
MOTION, moved by Philip Kantor, seconded by Erica Goleman: To approve moving forward with plans to place a pickleball court behind the Grammar School.
Pass: Aye: Philip Kantor, Christopher Waldo, Erica Goleman.
