    • - Vote to approve the Accounts Payable Warrant W23-23 in the amount of $233,280.99; the Payroll Warrant, and the Payroll Deduction Warrant.

      Before signing the warrant articles 33 and 34 were approved 3 to 0.

    • - Vote to appoint Renee Ciulla to the Open Space committee for a term expiring 6/30/2025.

      MOTION, moved by Philip Kantor, seconded by Erica Goleman: To appoint Renee Ciulla to the Open Space Committee.

    • - Discussion and vote on citizen petition for annual town election ballot.

      General Discussion...
      The citizen petition to requesting a non-binding vote to move the Annual Town Meeting back to a week day instead of Saturday. A clarification is needed that a yes vote keeps the meeting a Saturday and a no vote changes it to a weekday evening.

      MOTION, moved by Erica Goleman, seconded by Christopher Waldo: To place the petition on the ballot for a vote.

    • - Discussion and vote on transfer station permit and bag sticker policy with start date of September 1, 2023.

      General Discussion...
      There was a discussion about the new policies for the transfer station. The following aspects were discussed.

      * The decal for cars will be $20 dollars which is a $10 increase from last year.

      * Each household will receive 104 bag stickers for the year.

      * 1 sticker is valid for a 33 gallon bag, or 2 standard kitchen bags, and 2 stickers will be required for a contractor bag or the equivalent amount above 33 gallons.

      * The cost for additional stickers, above the 104, was set at $1.00.

      * Decals can be purchased beginning September 1 and the sticker policy takes affect October 7. The current stickers will be valid until the start date in October.

      MOTION, moved by Christopher Waldo, seconded by Erica Goleman: To set the cost of a Transfer Station decal at $20.

      MOTION, moved by Erica Goleman, seconded by Christopher Waldo: To include 104 bag stickers per household when the initial decal is purchased. Additional decals do not include additional stickers.

      MOTION, moved by Christopher Waldo, seconded by Erica Goleman: To have 1 sticker be valid for a 33 gallon bag, or an equivalent amount of waste, and 2 stickers for contractor bags or any amount above 33 gallons.

    • - Discussion on the Germain Scholarship applications.

      $1400 dollars per applicant uses the interest from the trust and only dips into the principle minimally.

      MOTION, moved by Philip Kantor, seconded by Christopher Waldo: To allocate $1400 to each of the 5 applicants of the Germain Scholarship. .
