  6. Neighbors Helping Neighbors program

    • - Jackie spoke with the head of the Whately/Deerfield area N-H-N program. He was very helpful and provided information on beginning the process in Conway. Or possibly having Conway join the program there. There will be a very brief comment in the Conway Currents searching for people willing to volunteer their time.

  7. Mass in Motion Age and Dementia friendly initiative

    • Age-Friendly Franklin County

      General Discussion...
      * Statewide movement that promotes opportunities for healthy eating and active living in the places people live, learn, work and play.
      * Mass In Motion Franklin County’s grant is designed to complement LifePath’s ongoing Age-Friendly project.
      * Changes community conditions by looking at long-term solutions to address root causes of problems.
      * Leading with race explicitly but not exclusively.

      This will be a joint project with multiple committees/departments involved.

  8. Capacity Assessment

    • - Kat, Jackie and Emily attended the COHS meeting. It is geared toward larger towns and cities.

    • Kat

      Will continue with education and guiding the board through current and future responsibilities.

    • Jackie

      General Discussion...
      Jackie will continue working with the health-based responsibilities. She will also spearhead the Neighbor Helping Neighbor program.

    • Emily

      General Discussion...
      Emily will continue as the Barn Inspector / Animal Inspector; while also taking part in other activities that may require her assistance.

    • Tilda

      General Discussion...
      Interested in working on the Neighbor Helping Neighbor program. She will also work with FRCOG on food inspections.
