      General Discussion...
      Met with the COA, who are very interested in working with the Board of Health on this project.

      Currently there is a program that encompasses Whately, Sunderland and Deerfield. There is a possibility Conway can join them but first we need to get a base of volunteers.

  7. Emergency Shelter Management

    • - The BOH will now be responsible for emergency shelter management. Randy suggested that members take the Red Cross course ''how to set up an emergency shelter''.

  8. Unanticipated items of concern that arises after posting

    • MAPHCO

      General Discussion...
      Randy Crochier (FRCOG) came to ask the board to consider joining MAPHCO (Mohawk Area Public Health Coalition). This is a grant funded Public Health Preparedness (PHEP) body comprised of Local Health Departments and Board of Health. The Coalition will be developing a new, overarching Emergency Dispensing Site (EDS) plan for Franklin County that is flexible, scalable, and deployable at various locations within the region.

      The board has agreed to vote on this at the next regular meeting.
