- Discuss and vote to approve new transfer station fluorescent orange bag sticker and policy write-up.
General Discussion...
Discussion about the Transfer Station included:
The sticker for the bags is set to go to the printer. It will be orange with the covered bridge logo. It was pointed out that it doesn't have to be around the neck of the bag and can be put on the side.
Additional car decals for a household will be $5.00.
There are questions about what can go in a bag and how to monitor odd trash such as a mop or a car seat. The first year will be the time to tweak the policy and begin to make decisions on changes as problems arise.
Having a bag program for people that bring loose trash is in the works. People that have chicken feed bags or other large bags will be able to donate those to the Transfer Station for others to use.
A donation program that will allow people to turn over stickers that they don't use is being investigated. Conway will get in touch with some other towns to see how they implement this program.MOTION, moved by Christopher Waldo, seconded by Erica Goleman: All additional car decals will be $5.00 with no additional bag stickers.
Pass: Aye: Erica Goleman, Philip Kantor, Christopher Waldo.
MOTION, moved by Philip Kantor, seconded by Erica Goleman: Approve the sticker with the covered bridge logo for distribution.

MOTION, moved by Philip Kantor, seconded by Erica Goleman: Approve the policy write up so it can be distributed to citizens.
