      Chris met with Veronique and Ron Sweet to discuss capital expenditures.
      Phil attended various School Committee meetings.

    • - Discussion of school committee meeting dates & budget formation for Grammar School and Frontier Regional School.

      General Discussion...
      Conway Grammar will be having a budget meeting focusing on retiring teacher buy back on February 16th at 6:00. Frontier will be have a budget meeting on March 17th. The Finance committee was encouraged to be there.

    • - Review of the following budgets; 114-Moderator, 131-Finance Committee, 135-Auditor, 170-Open Space, 171 Conservation Commission, 172-Agricultural Commission, 175-Planning Board, 176-Zoning Board of Appeals, 190-Personnel, 210-Police, 220-Fire, 292-Animal Control, 294-Tree Warden, 491-Cemetery, 525-Opioid, 541-Council on Aging, 610-Library, 630-Parks & Recreation, 635-Forest & Trails, 691-Historical Commission.

      General Discussion...
      The following proposed budgets were looked at by the Select Board and Finance Committee. The following were level funded or had small increases due to the cost of mailings and advertisement, new member training or inflation related items. All were meet with an initial approval by those in attendance.
      1) Fire Department budget increased by $8,000. One major factor was radio fees.
      2) Police Department budget increased by $1,750. Vehicle maintenance was factor.
      3) Request for the Audit was $10,000.
      4) Animal Control request of $5,305.
      5) Library requested $2,845.
      6) Tree Warden increase for public hearing advertisement. $510.
      6) Zoning Board an increase of $125 for training.
      7) Conservation Commission $1,061.
      8) Moderator for town meeting $350.
      9) Open Space Committee in the amount of $3,100.
      10) Cemetery Commission in the amount of $600.
      11) Council on Aging in the amount of $1,200.
      12) Forest and Trails in the amount of $400.
      13) Historical Commission in the amount of $400.

    • - Highway Department request to have the selectboard sign off on Chapter 90 and WRAP program reimbursements.

    • - Discussion and vote to sign contract with GZA for FEMA Pre-Hazard Mitigation grant for Delabarre Avenue.

      MOTION, moved by Erica Goleman, seconded by Christopher Waldo: Vote to sign GZA so Conway will be reimbursed for the work it completes. .

      This will be put on the Annual Town Meeting. Other towns will have already voted and the Select Board will be rewording the request for the town meeting.
